I am married to David and have four children, three of whom are grown and married. In earlier years I was a stay at home mom, but I returned to teaching in 1998, when my oldest child was was beginning college and my youngest child was a second grader. I currently teach 6th grade science at McNair Middle School in Fayetteville, where I have taught since the school opened in the fall of 2000. I love the outdoors and especially hiking, camping, and traveling.
